Making Waves on Campus with MEGAN ROSHAK

In 2019, Beachwaver launched our college ambassador program, the Campus Wave! Each month, campus reps get a box full of Beachwaver goodies to help spread the word about The Beachwaver Co. on their campuses! Below, meet Megan Roshak who just graduated from the University of Wisconsin Green Bay.

What is/are your favorite Beachwaver product(s)?
I love the Shubie Surf Beach Spray! It’s one of my favorite products for on the go. I also like to keep the Beachwaver Wrap Up in my purse in case I want a quick hair change.

What is your favorite part of being a member of Beachwaver’s Campus Wave?
I love the Campus Wave community! Everyone is so kind and empowering. Through Campus Wave, I’ve been able to connect with so many amazing ladies.

What do you expect to be doing 10 years from now?
10 years from now, I hope to further my career in social media marketing. I would also love to continue working on my blog, MeganRoshak.com.

What is an obstacle you’ve faced, and how did you get through?
Recently, I faced the obstacle of post-grad job searching. I won’t sugarcoat it; it was a stressful process. I received quite a few “no’s” along the way before I got a yes and landed the job I’m in now. Creating a schedule and job application tracker for myself helped a ton. In the job search, you really have to keep yourself accountable and try to stay positive. You can’t let the rejections hold you back.

What is your life motto?
“No one should give up a dream without giving it a chance to come true.” ― Jacqueline Susann

How do you define success?
If I meet my goals, then I view that as success. I think it’s important to recognize that the needs and wants of each and every individual are different.

What’s the craziest hair trend you ever rocked?
The craziest hair trend that I ever rocked was tinsel hair extensions. The craziest hair trend that I wanted to rock but never did is the Ramona Flowers haircut (dyed pink of course).

As a Campus Rep, Megan was offered the opportunity to donate products to her charity of choice!
When I attended UW-Waukesha, I lived in the Waukesha area and had the opportunity to hear about the work that The Women's Center does in the community. They offer support and shelter to survivors; they are a place that people can go when they don't know where to go. I admire their mission and their commitment to helping survivors. I am donating a variety of Beachwaver shampoo & conditioner!
