How To Hold On To Your Summer Glow Throughout The Fall

Another summer has come and gone in the blink of an eye. While more than ready for cozy fall days, it's sad to say goodbye to some favorite summer beauty looks - specifically bronzed skin and beachy hair. Luckily, Carlianne Brennan found some foolproof ways to hold onto your summer glow well into the colder months. Just because temperatures are dropping doesn’t mean your beauty routines have to!

1. Golden Glow

The easiest way to fake a post-vacay glow is to wear a glowy bronzer and highlighter. They are so much fun to play with and can be built up for a megawatt glow. Find a shade you love and fake a summer glow year round.

2. Beach Waves for Days

Every summer, I love the pretty, natural waves my hair gets after a day at the beach. Enter: The Beachwaver. The Beachwaver curling iron is the best and easiest tool to create polished beach waves, sans salt.

3. Bronzed Beauty

Even in the summer months, I’m always team fake tan. The sun can be so damaging to your skin, so my fair skin and I opt for a faux glow. When your summer tan starts to fade, apply some self-tanner to get that “I just got back from Aruba” skin, even when temperatures are freezing.

4. Sun Kissed Cheeks

Add some color to your face by applying a little blush over your nose too. I love this trick when I want to fake a day spent in the sun (instead of a day spent WFH). Opt for a liquid formula to get that effortless watercolor glow.

5. Beachy Blonde

Keep your sun kissed strands bright and blonde with Beachwaver’s BRB Blonde Purple Shampoo & Conditioner (which recently won a 2020 Allure Best of Beauty Award!). Think back to your elementary school color wheel days; purple is complementary to yellow, so a purple shampoo cancels out any unwanted brassy tones in your blonde.

Despite plummeting temperatures, I’m holding on to my summer beauty look year round with these tips. You know what they say, fake it ‘til you make it.
