Dream Big Make Waves with Rosy Hodge

Originally from South Africa, Rosy learned to surf at age seven. A year later, she won her first contest, and, from that moment on, she made up her mind she would travel the world and surf professionally. She won nine South African Championship titles before qualifying for the World Tour and spent four years on Tour as a Top-10 contender, but in 2010, her run abruptly ended when she failed to prequalify.

Instead of giving up, Rosy followed a path no other woman had before. She was offered the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to become a commentator for the World Surf League. She accepted and went on to travel the world calling heats.
