Here at The Beachwaver Co., our mantra is “Dream big, make waves,” so we know how important it is to take time to sit down, make goals for ourselves, and then follow through on those goals! In the spirit of a new year (and holding ourselves accountable!), here are a few resolutions the Beachwaver team is working on in 2020. We’ll check back in with them at the end of the year to see how we did!

To finally learn how to play guitar! And to find out what my kids, Grayson and Lauder, really love to do and help them get really good at it.

Prioritize my health, stop procrastinating, get better sleep, learn how to love myself, cultivate compassion, stop and smell the flowers.

I want to commit to one charitable act a month, such as donating clothes, giving blood, volunteering at an event, or making a monetary donation.

Start my days earlier by writing down goals and things I am grateful for, along with a healthy breakfast!

Get back into woodworking! My prized possession is a live-edge bench I made for my kitchen last year. This year, I’d love to make a coffee table, some column shelves, and a plant stand.

– Katie, social media coordinator

Be more adaptable to things I can’t control. Be more present and kind to myself and the environment, people, and relationships around me. Have a healthy lifestyle both mentally and physically that is sustainable. Grow as a creative problem solver beyond content creation and business.

I’d like to spend more time channeling and sharing my roots with the people around me. I grew up in an Indian and Puerto Rican household. It was a cultural collision of Caribbean food and Indian spices. I have been dedicating the past month to finding ways to combine both worlds and experiment with creating new foods and beverages.
