How-To: Textured Chignon

This means prepping your hair with the right tools and products so that your style a) looks like the Pinterest photo that inspired you to create it, and b) stays in place all night!

1. Start by spritzing hair with Great Barrier Heat Protectant Hairspray for a flexible hold plus heat protection!

2. Curl hair in alternating directions with the Beachwaver S1. Curling in both directions adds more volume and texture to the hair.

3. Spray waves with Shubie Surf Beach Spray and rake your fingers through for added grit before creating your updo!

4. Leaving a few sections out in the front, create a low ponytail, and pinch and pull hair at the root for volume.

5. Create a knot with the pony, then pancake to create volume, and pin in place.

6. Twist and pin the remaining pieces around the knot, and finish with Great Barrier for added hold
