Making Waves on Campus with Claire

In 2019, Beachwaver launched our college ambassador program, the Campus Wave! Each month, campus reps get a box full of Beachwaver goodies to help spread the word about The Beachwaver Co. on their campuses! Below, meet Claire Burford, who is studying Graphic Design at The University of Florida!

What is/are your favorite Beachwaver product(s)?

My favorite Beachwaver products are the Beachaver Pro 1.25 Dual Voltage and the Shine Bright Serum.

What is your favorite part of being a member of Beachwaver’s Campus Wave?

My favorite part is making content! I love getting new products and learning how to show them off through social media as well as all of the knowledge I have gained about the process of running a business from the founders at our monthly zoom.

What do you expect to be doing 10 years from now?

10 years from now I will have graduated from The University of Florida with a degree in Graphic Design, and I will be a graphic designer and hopefully traveling a lot.

What is an obstacle you’ve faced, and how did you get through?

An obstacle I recently had to face was moving 12 hours away to college. This was my first time living so far from my family and it was definitely an adjustment.

I was able to overcome the obstacle of being so far from home and my family by joining Alpha Chi Omega, a sorority at The University of Florida. There, I found so many amazing women who are now my family away from home and have made the adjustments so much easier for me.

What is your life motto?

If you're happy doing what you're doing, then no one can tell you that you aren't successful.

How do you define success?

I define success as happiness because if you are not happy none of that hard work it took to find success was even worth it

What’s the craziest hair trend you ever rocked?

I I have recently been super into slicking my hair back which isn't that crazy unless you consider that I have only worn my hair down for like that past 6 years.
