Making Waves on Campus with Lynne Pavletic

In 2019, Beachwaver launched our college ambassador program, the Campus Wave! Each month, campus reps get a box full of Beachwaver goodies to help spread the word about The Beachwaver Co. on their campuses! Below, meet Lynne Pavletic, who is a senior studying Molecular and Cellular Biology at the University of Illinois at Urbana - Champaign!

What is/are your favorite Beachwaver product(s)?
My favorite Beachwaver products are the B1 Beachwaver (any colorway) and the BRB Blonde Purple Shampoo and Conditioner

I love how the B1 Beachwaver is travel-friendly, has a simplistic design perfect for beginners, and gives me perfect curls every single time. It is such a reliable tool for amazing curls, making it perfect for events/game days!!

The BRB Blonde Purple Shampoo and Conditioner takes away any brassiness from my blonde balayage and makes it look so gorgeous and refreshed! Not to mention it also smells amazing and leaves my hair super soft.

What is your favorite part of being a member of Beachwaver’s Campus Wave?
My favorite part about being a member of the Beachwaver’s Campus Wave is getting to meet other girls from many different college campuses and getting to learn and share so much about the Beachwaver brand. The brand is very inspiring; I am incredibly grateful to be a part of the Campus Wave. It has inspired me to make content and also feel confident styling my hair!

What do you expect to be doing 10 years from now?
Ten years from now, I expect to see myself as a Physician’s Assistant (PA) working in a clinic serving marginalized communities. I also will continue being an influencer working with the brands I love and showcasing my life as a Physician’s Assistant (PA).

What is an obstacle you’ve faced, and how did you get through?
An obstacle I faced was time management. I had to learn how to balance my course load with the jobs I work on campus. To help, I have been a fan of using spreadsheets to plan out my assignment deadlines and utilizing a planner to plan my weeks and months.

What is your life motto?
My life motto is, “It always seems impossible until it’s done. You can do it!”

How do you define success?
I define success as being happy with your decisions and where you are in life. No matter what and where that is, you have found things that you sincerely enjoy and make you happy!

What’s the craziest hair trend you ever rocked?
It is not necessarily the craziest hair trend, but I recently just switched from a side part to a middle part, cut my hair shorter, and got curtain bangs and it has been a blast curling it! The curls my Beachwaver B1 gives me are full of volume and make me fall in love with my new hair every time.

As a Campus Rep, Lynne was offered the opportunity to donate products to her charity of choice!
I would like to donate to Austin’s place – Shelter for Women where women are provided with emergency overnight shelter!

Feel free to reach out to me via Instagram @lynnepavletic! I love meeting new people and am always willing to answer any questions you may have!
