Making Waves on Campus with Isabella Saucedo
The average girl will go through over 25 different hair brands in their lifetime. For me? I am sticking with just one, Beachwaver. Hi! My name is Isabella Saucedo and I am a junior at the University of Central Florida, currently in the process of getting my Bachelor's of Science in Integrated Business. I have been a Beachwaver Campus Representative for just one semester and am so happy with the program.
As someone who has always loved the elegant look, I can hands down say my favorite Beachwaver product is the Beachwaver S1.25 Curling Iron. It gives me the perfect, clean wave every time and I can finish my hair in less than 10 minutes. I also could not live without the Braid Balm, it is just everything. My curl from braids without it lasts 30 minutes, tops. My curls when braid balm is used last for days at a time.

On a more personal note, as I stated, I am studying Integrated Business at the University of Central Florida. With my degree, I hope to enter the world of Commercial Real Estate. In 10 years from now, I hope to be entertaining the thought of buying my own Real Estate Advising Firm, hopefully, married with children. I have always looked forward to being a mom who represented hard work and the value it adds to your life. It has not always been easy to push through the days where success feels like an eternity away, we all face obstacles along the way, but that is what makes the success and good days that much sweeter. An obstacle I have faced along my journey is my mental health. It is something I have been struggling with since a very young age, yet I have grown to be stronger than my anxieties, and not only that but have also grown to be open about it to normalize the topic of mental health and break the stigma behind it. Alongside Real Estate, another lifelong goal of mine is to open up a non-profit for children K-12 to get free mental health counseling and mentoring.

I would define success by the amount of lives you have changed. You are given one opportunity to be a light in others’ lives and you must not let that opportunity pass you by. You truly never know when somebody needs a smile. I hope this blog post stands as a reminder that you are not defined by your mental health and that help is available. Thanks to Beachwaver, we've donated to the Orlando Health Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children to help brighten the patients' day.
