Dream Big, Make Waves with Alyson

On her 30th birthday—four months after giving birth to her daughter—life and style blogger Alyson (@themodernsavvy) became paralyzed from the chest down. She had no idea what was happening, or whether she would never walk again. She was diagnosed with a rare neurological condition called transverse myelitis—she’s told that she’s one in 1 million. Before her diagnosis, she started a life and blog style called @themodernsavvy. “I didn’t know it at the time, but this platform would give me the opportunity to share my story,” she says. Alyson has proven that when we dream big and show up to fight for those dreams, anything is possible.
