Making Waves on Campus with Ariel Ortiz-Graham

Last fall, The Beachwaver Co. launched our new college ambassador program, the Campus Wave! Each month, campus reps get a box full of Beachwaver goodies to help spread the word about The Beachwaver Co. on their campuses!

Below, meet Ariel Ortiz-Graham who is studying at South College in Nashville, TN! 

What is your favorite Beachwaver product?

The Beachwaver S1 and Second Chance Dry Shampoo.

What is your favorite part of being a member of Beachwaver’s Campus Wave?

How empowering the team is. They want everyone to be successful. The tools we are provided makes it more fun instead of feeling like work. I am so lucky to be afforded this opportunity and I hope to continue on!

What do you expect to be doing 10 years from now?

I expect to be a strength and conditioning coach for a professional or college team.

What is an obstacle you’ve faced, and how did you get through it?

An obstacle I faced recently was getting on camera and making videos. I am fortunate enough to be working with some great companies, and I really want to give it all I can. But I have never been this active on social media! To overcome it, I bought some things to make me feel more prepared. I bought a ring light, a desk, and some backdrops. I put all that in a quiet area and I have a designated spot to do my videos. Every video I make, I can see how much I improve and I love it. Practice makes perfect!

What is your life motto?

“No matter how you feel, get up, dress up, show up, and never give up."

How do you define success?

To me, success is being proud of yourself. Everyone has a different story and their success may not be what yours is. Success is crushing goals you never thought you could.

What’s the craziest hair trend you ever rocked?

Crazy colors! I have had red, pink, grey, purple, and dirty blonde. I love being creative with my hair.
