The Power of Women: LIVELY x KraveBeauty x Beachwaver
As a female-founded and female-run company, we have always believed we have a responsibility to support and inspire other women, so when we were invited to be a part of an event celebrating female entrepreneurship and empowerment alongside two other female-founded companies in NYC, we couldn’t book our plane tickets fast enough.
The sold-out event: LIVELY x KraveBeauty x Beachwaver Present: Get Ready for Brunch included a panel moderated by Refinery 29’s Deputy Beauty Director, Jessica Cruel, featuring The Beachwaver Co. Founders Sarah Potempa and Erin Potempa-Wall and KraveBeauty Founder Liah Yoo. Sarah, Erin, and Liah each shared their stories of how they took a leap of faith to start a business, some of the challenges they’ve faced along the way, and what being a #beautyboss means to them.
“We’re a hair styling tools company, but the true heart of The Beachwaver Co. is in our mission statement,” shared Erin. “We’re dedicated to innovation, accessibility, sustainability, and empowerment…we believe we are all beautiful and capable of incredible things.”
After the panel discussion, attendees got to try the Beachwaver, talk skincare with the KraveBeauty team, and enjoy sips from Winc.
