Making Waves on Campus with Devin

She is a student at West Virginia University and this is her second year in Campus Wave. This past summer, she interned for Beachwaver!

What is/are your favorite Beachwaver product(s)?

Her favorite Beachwaver product is the B series curling irons. Specifically, it is the B1 Pink Sunset Beachwaver because it was the first Beachwaver I got. If only she used it in elementary school when she rocked pink and green hair extensions!

What is your favorite part of being a member of Beachwaver’s Campus Wave?

She loves the community aspect of the program and getting to know the 100 other members who attend different universities across the country! They all get to learn so much from each other and support one anotherl.

What is your life motto?

“Everything happens for a reason” especially after Hurricane Sandy destroyed her home in 2012. She lives in the second row of houses off of the water. The bay met the ocean and everything was completely under water. While she was fortunate enough to still have a house standing, she was homeless/ displaced for six months and was forced to embrace change and break out of my shell by embracing her true self. These events led her to become more independent and helped shaped who she is today

How do you define success?

Devin defines success by feeling satisfied and having joy in the outcome of your working hard. In ten years from now, she hopes to be working in New York City in the business side of fashion for a big brand name store.
