Festival Looks 2023

LOOK #1: Kim Kardashian Wet Look

Step 1: Prep the hair by brushing the Luxe Leave-In Conditioning Detangler through the hair with the Prep Brush to smooth and remove any tangles.

Step 2: Apply a hair mask like Inner Strength Avocado Oil Protein Mask all over the hair. This will create a long-lasting “wet hair” effect.

Step 3: Apply a flexible hold gel like Epic Flex Flexible Styling Gel throughout the hair to help maintain the “wet” looking texture while giving the hair some additional hold.

Step 4: Add small braids, jewelry, or glitter through the hair to add festival vibes to this fun Kim Kardashian inspired “wet hair” look!

Tip: Use flexible styling products to allow the hair to move and appear more natural for an effortless wet hair look.

LOOK #2: Margot Robbie Braided Buns

Step 1: Use a Wide Tooth Comb to create a clean center part from the front all the way through the hair. Secure the left half of the hair out of the way and apply Braid Balm Pre-Braid Prep evenly throughout the right half.

Step 2: Flip the head over and take a small section of hair from the base of the neck on the right side. Separate the small section into three even parts. Create a Dutch braid up the back of the hair by crossing the left under the middle, then, the right under the middle. Continue by adding hair to the left and crossing it under the middle. Then, add hair to the right and cross it under the middle. Keep adding hair to each section and crossing under the middle until you have reached the crown of your head. Secure the braid along with the rest of the right half of hair with an elastic into a high pigtail. Repeat this process on the left side.

Tip: Leave some hair out in front on each side and curl with the Beachwaver B1 to help soften the look and frame the face.

Step 3: Add some more Braid Balm Pre-Braid Prep throughout the hair and twist each pigtail to create even, clean space buns on the top of the head. The Braid Balm will help add grip and hold to the hair to tame flyways for a smooth space bun look.

Step 4: Adding glitter down the center part can help add a fun festival flare to this fun Margot Robbie inspired braided space bun look!

LOOK #3: Gigi Hadid Bubble Braids

Step 1: Spray the hair with Great Barrier Heat Protectant Hairspray, part down the middle, and section the hair to create Beachwaves from the bottom working your way up. Using the Beachwaver B1 Neon Desert, take one-inch sections of hair, face the clamp in towards you, place the hair in the clamp leaving the ends out, and press the arrow away from your face. After holding for a few seconds, open the clamp and pull it straight down. Continue this all around your head section by section.

Step 2: Once the curls have cooled, break them up with your fingers for a textured look. At the root, spray Second Chance Dry Shampoo to help add volume and reduce shine for a relaxed finish.

Step 3: Take a small section of hair on the right side of the part and secure it with an elastic at the root to create a small ponytail. Secure another elastic 1 inch under the first elastic. Gently pull the hair in between the two elastics to form a "bubble." Continue forming little bubbles all the way down the ponytail. Repeat this on the left side of the part so you have a set of half-up bubble pigtails.

Tip: Start the bubble braids a few inches back to frame the face with some soft Beachwaves.

Look #4: Jennie from Black Pink Pigtail Braids

Step 1: Use a Wide Tooth Comb to create a clean center part from the front all the way through the hair. On the right side, create another “part” about an inch away starting from the crown of the head to the halfway point of the initial part. This is the section we will work with first so put the rest of the hair aside for now.

Step 2: Apply Braid Balm Pre-Braid Prep evenly to this section and create a Dutch braid from the crown going towards the front of the head. Create a Dutch braid up the back of the hair by crossing the left under the middle, then, the right under the middle. Continue by adding hair to the left and crossing it under the middle. Then, add hair to the right and cross it under the middle. Keep adding hair to each section and crossing under the middle until you have reached the middle point of the center part. From here, just finish the braid as a standard three-strand braid. Repeat this on the left side of the part.

Step 3: Using the rest of the hair on each side, create two high pigtails. Use Epic Flex Flexible Styling Gel to keep the hair smooth and tight for a sleek look. Take a small section of hair from each pigtail to wrap around the elastic for a polished result. You can use the pull-through tool found in the Beachwaver Fanny Packs to secure this hair without hairpins.

Step 4: Apply Braid Balm Pre-Braid Prep to each pigtail and braid them all the way to the ends. Secure each braid with an elastic and, again, hide the elastic by wrapping a small piece of hair around it. This will create a cool, sleek, Black Pink inspired four-braid look perfect for festival season!
